Community-based forest management is failing to fulfil its promises: community forests and people's timber plantations in Boalemo, Gorontalo Province, Indonesia
Abstrak
Although designed by the central government in Jakarta,community-based forest management policies are, by decree, implemented by local governments. This brief analysis outlines the challenges andthreats in the implementation and enactment of two schemes: HKm and HTRat the local level by citing the example of Boalemo District inthe province of Gorontalo on the island of Sulawesi.
