Laporan Kajian Kerentanan Terhadap Perubahan Iklim Berdasarkan pada Pengetahuan Lokal Masyarakat di Kabupaten Landak, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat

Abstrak

Based on the village typology identified in this study, the villages in Landak District were classified into two types. The villages were classified as extremely vulnerable to climate change (141 villages) and moderately vulnerable (10 villages). Villages categorized as extremely vulnerable (Type 1) are located very close to oil palm companies, smallholders’ oil palm plantations, oil palm mills, mines, and main roads. These villages have large areas covered with shrubs, a large human population, a small forest area per village; located far from deforestation areas, and have a low deforestation rate. On the other hand, villages that are moderately vulnerable (Type 3) are located very close to the river and quite far from oil palm mills and mining companies. The Type 3 villages have a large percentage of oilpalm plantation per village, quite a large area of shrubs, and medium population density.
